Residential Servicing

We provide both regularly scheduled maintenance services, like spring start-up and fall winterization, and unscheduled services such as expansions, water-wise technology additions, and repairs.

Residential Servicing

From the moment you call, to the time the repair is completed, service personnel are trained to relate to customers in a courteous, expeditious, and fair manner.

University Sprinklers has a custom-designed computer database system that contains important information about your site. If you like your valve boxes bolted shut or if you have prize roses in the front garden – we keep a record of this and service you accordingly.

Regularly Scheduled Service

We have two main scheduled service appointments during the year: Spring Start-up, and Fall Winterization. Spring Start-up service makes your system ready for the coming season. We re-charge the system’s mainlines, check all heads, re-program timers, and test all zones. This is an optional service that University Sprinklers provides that many customers appreciate so that their system is ready when the hot weather arrives. Fall Winterization is a stongly recommended service that ensures your system is protected against costly freeze damage during the winter. This service is usually completed by November 15th of each year.

Unscheduled Service

Does your lawn have brown spots? If it does it might be a sign your irrigation system needs repairs. When repairs need to be made, we will ask for your prior approval, and usually can provide you with a written quote. Rain sensors are a popular addition to existing systems, and are one of many water-wise technologies we are encouraging our clients to consider. Rain Sensor. They monitor the amount of rainfall your yard receives and shuts the system down after a sufficient amount. As well, if you are considering changing your landscape, it is important to consider changes to your irrigation system. Sometimes relocating trees or shrubs will require changing or moving sprinkler heads to more effectively water your new landscape. In addition, if you have had your irrigation system for a number of years you may want to consider a "tune-up". As your landscape grows heads may need adjusting or moving to ensure your entire yard is effectively watered. It is important to remember to protect your landscape investment with a properly watering irrigation system.

We carry advanced wire tracing and detecting equipment to find lost valves, repair broken subsurface wires, and trace mainlines. We also have sophisticated equipment that gives us the ability to replace broken lines under driveways, sidewalks, and parking areas in most cases.

With factory trained service personnel, warranty related or non-warranty related problems can be fixed quickly. With one of the largest service fleets in the industry, University Sprinklers is able to service its customers’ systems expeditiously. Whether it’s a scheduled service call, or a mid-winter emergency, the year-round service personnel at University Sprinklers are here to exceed your expectations.
